SoJo

SoJo is not your typical run of the mill Chinese restaurant that dishes up the obligatory items you find in most Chinese restaurants & takeaways.

We would certainly encourage you to be more adventurous than the usual sweet and sour and black bean varieties or Singapore Fried Noodles, which incidentally is not Chinese.

SoJo serves up food a Chinese grandmother would bring to the dinner table.

To many our dishes may be alien or even new but they are actually centuries old, traditional proper Chinese food that prompted Giles Coren from The times to write about us in August 2009.   http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/eating_out/giles_coren/article6809248.ece

There is no compromise here, where it is meant to be spicy, it is so by Chinese standards and that could be 7 to 9 out of 10 on the British palate scale.

That is what SoJo food is about no frills, unpretentious rustic food with lots of exotic ingredients cooked from scratch and prepared with age old methods.
